They say the drummer is the heartbeat of any good band, and any craftsman is only as good as his tools. If that's the case, we just got a new set of drums. After a long and fruitful relationship with black hills farms, which have been providing us with what is known as a Blue Butt pig.

Legend Meats will now be providing us with our pork, specifically the Red Wattle. The Red Wattle are a breed of domestic pig originating in the United States and are characterized by their red coat and distinctive wattles. They typically weigh 600–800 pounds (270–360 kg). Large specimens can reach 1,200 pounds (540 kg) in weight, 4 feet (120 cm) in height and 8 feet (240 cm) in length. They normally have 10 –15 piglets per litter. They grow fast, forage well, and are hardy, mild-tempered and resistant to disease.

Indian Mountain Ranch is the base of operations for Legend Meats, Located in Gormand Tx. The ranch is all natural & free range. Most orders are slaughtered in a day or two of an order being placed.
