Scarpetta Timido 12/42

Scarpetta Timido Vino 12/42
Fruili-Venezia Giulia, Italy

ripe berries, rose petals, dry

Scarpetta is a winery owned and operated by Bobby Stuckey, M.S. and Chef Lachlan Patterson, owners and creators of Frasca Food and Wine in Boulder, Colorado. Frasca Food and Wine is a restaurant inspired by the culture and cuisine of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy.

Stuckey & Patterson work with a vineyard in the Colli Orientali that is planted to old vine Franconia and Pinot Nero. This Sparkling Rosé is fresh and balanced with rose petals and ripe berries. It is great to have as an aperitivo or with a plate of salumi.

Spumante Brut Rose
Vinification: The grapes are fermented in stainless steel and produced in the Charmant method (or as we say in Italy “Metodo Italiano”). It is the same method used in Prosecco production.

Aromatics: Aromas of strawberries and flowers

Palate: Crisp and dry with flavors of strawberries and a touch of herbs.

Food and Wine Pairings: This Spumante Rose is great to have before or after work, before a meal or after. Wonderful with salads, plate of Salumi or piece of Salmon.
