ABW Karl 6/22

Description: This is Austin Beerworks 3'rd anniversary beer. It is a Kölsch, which is traditionally described as clear with a bright, straw-yellow hue, has a prominent but not extreme hoppiness, and is less bitter than the standard German pale lager.

Review: Pours gold with a white head in a kolsch glass. Smell is grassy, lightly malty and clean. Taste is dry with a crisp grassy taste and some sharp hops. Light bodied and very easy drinking and refreshingly crisp. Have I mentioned it is crisp and refreshing? It is. I like easy drinking kolsches and they were perfect on a 90 degree sunny day.

ABV: 5.6%
