Odell - St. Lupulin 6/22

Discription: A mystical legend echoes in our brewhouse – that of St. Lupulin (loop-you-lin) the archetypal hophead. He devoted endless summers to endless rows of hops, tending to the flowers and the beloved resin within – lupulin. Extraordinary oils in this yellow resin provide this dry-hopped extra pale ale with an undeniably pleasing floral aroma and clean, crisp finish. One sip of this seasonal summer ale and you too, will believe. The balance between malt and hops, bitter and smooth, is nearly perfect and makes for superb drinkability

Review: Pours a slightly darker amber with about a finger and a half of head. Smells heavily of mango and a little bit of grass and cantaloupe. The mango is turned down quite a bit but a couple light melons like honeydew and cantaloupe appear nicely on the taste. Then the palate picks up something of the crackery malt that's not too dry either that you can get from that malt characteristics. Then the finish ends up in some botanical notes maybe some eucalypti flavors.
Light to medium carbonation and easy drinkability and mouthfeel. A very tasty and quaff able beverage that makes it easy and a pleasure to drink. A very nice pale.

ABV:6.5
