Left Coast Cellars Rose of Pinot Noir.....9/36

'13 Left Coast Cellars…..9/36
Willamette Valley, Oregon
dry, strawberry & cream

Compared with the Dom. de la Bastide Rosé we were just serving, which tasted and smelled of watermelons, this one is more in the cherry and strawberry vein. The fruit is delicious, and although you could say it's crisp, there's a creaminess to this wine that our last few rosés haven't had.

Left Coast makes a variety of Pinot Noir wines, Syrah, a few whites (including a white Pinot Noir), this rosé, and European truffles. They're in the Willamette ("Will am it") Valley, Oregon's best known winegrowing region. They only made 662 cases of this rosé, making it probably our smallest-production wine in a while. It's 13.5% ABV.
