Odell Pearle White IPA 6/22

With so many sub categories of IPA these days, it's hard for the hop head to keep up. If your interested in jumping down that rabbit hole, check out This Site. This beer is a white IPA which is a belgian wit beer loaded with that hoppy goodness. Many white IPAs leave a little something to be desired in either the wheat or hop department. Odell did a great job of finding the right balance.
Odell is a brewery out of Fort Collins, CO., founded in 1989. We have featured several of their beers here at Contigo and none have failed to impress.

Style: White IPA

ABV: 5.5%

Description: Inspired by our small-batch pilot system, the Roots Release series honors our experimental brewing roots and invites you to sample some of our favorites. The Perle hop shines in this crisp white IPA. An herbal and fruit-like hop character mingles with the delicate wheat for a clean crisp finish that will leave you smiling

Review: A golden coloured brew with a small head of foam that shrinks quickly. The smell is hoppy with big notes of pine and grass and some wheat that has some spicy aspects to it. The taste is hoppy with what I noted above. It does have a wet hop slick kind of thing going on as well. Nice and tasty, good medium mouthfeel
